Megachip NC chip guards

Why would you want mud flaps for your sports car? First, they're not mud flaps - although they'll help there as well. We call them "chip guards" because that's what they are. They'll keep your paint from getting chipped (or at least dramatically lessen the likelihood), which is especially important if you have big, fat rubber on your car. Not only that, but these aren't giant parachutes, aerodynamically speaking. Megachip used the lessons they learned from CFD (computational fluid dynamics) testing with their S2000 to ensure that these don't cause any undue drag. The length beyond the body and the curved edge aren't just there for aesthetics, they're there specifically to keep things as clean as possible - both dirt-wise and aero-wise.

The material (both US-sourced and US-cut) is rubber-based, so it's both tough and flexible. No fragile fiberglass here. The holes in the front guard are slotted to give some adjustability for wider tires, on the rear you can locate them - within reason - where is best for you, just be sure to follow the instructions as well.

The difference between the NC1 and NC2/3 versions is the shape of the rear bumper, so keep this in mind if you're running alternate bodywork.

The front is secured with the stock factory fasteners, the rear is secured with high quality (3M VHB 45 mil 5952) tape (and new fasteners for the extended version). Tape might sound scary, but this is the truly good stuff, and we include alcohol swabs and adhesive prep pads to ensure a permanent bond.

This video is about the ND version, but the details are the same.
