




1.6 Flyin' Miata turbo manifold (new design)
Our turbo manifold has a proven track record for both strength and power, and it's at the heart of our famous turbo systems. Drilled for a T2 bolt pattern for the most popular Miata turbo sizes.
The manifolds have just been redesigned after some CFD (computational fluid dynamics) testing. They now offer 24% greater flow than our previous design and are also nearly 4.5 lbs lighter. Combined with the new outlet, the manifold / turbo / outlet assembly is nearly 6 lbs lighter! They have staggered runner diameters to ensure consistent timing of the exhaust pulses into the turbine. This means faster spool and the potential for higher power.
The manifold and outlet are both Cerakoted in C-7900 Glacier Titanium. It's rated for 1,800°F (980°C), so it's perfect for our application. That will keep your manifold looking new and will slow down heat transfer to the engine bay.
The new parts are a direct replacement for the old. Please note that due to the improved flow, you may have to lower your boost level if you are limited on fuel delivery - you'll make the same power at lower boost!
Fits US-model 1990-93 engines as well as the later European 1.6 cars without EGR. We do not have a version with an EGR fitting as required for NB 1.6 models.

Includes Inconel studs and Stage 8 hardware to attach the turbo to the manifold. You can usually reuse your exhaust manifold gasket. We recommend against using a gasket between the turbo and manifold, as they have a very high failure rate and are not needed to seal the joint.
